This is a space exploration nut's paradise! 1,100 (count them!) high quality articles. These highly researched articles were commissioned exclusivley for the site. The site is on a WordPress blog making it very usable for the (next) owner. The theme, in my opinion, is lack lustre but I'm sure that visitors to this site aren't deterred by it's styling. It's the quality of the content that is the main attraction.
It's a PR4 which is a plus.
However, the site gets only 2,500 visitors a month. That ain't many for a site with so much content. As an aside, out of those 1,100 posts, only 210 are indexed in Google. That's bad... Also, the site is making no money.
The minimum bid is $10,000 for a site with negligible traffic and no profit. It would have to be someone mad keen on trips to Mars who bought this site. Certainly not someone who was interested in running a business. I think that the seller is looking for recompense for his or her investment in the site. Those 1,100 articles didn't write themselves. I shudder to think of the cost of writing them. Probably around the $10,000 mark.

After nearly 2 years publishing aMarsOdyssey.com blog and a little more than 1100 unique posts (exclusively written for this blog), I have decided to sell it.
I am passionate of Space exploration since I am a little kid and that's why I publishing this blog 2 years ago. I am a full time Internet Marketer and just wanted to develop a side site...just for the fun.
I had an editor write around 50 to 80 posts a months during the last 20 months (buyer will get the details of the company I used to write the content). Needless to say it's highly researched and professionally written.
To be clear, I was not able to devote the time I would have liked to operate it. Thus we managed to run blog carnivals with many authority websites (universetoday.com) and we also got featured on Reuters... (see screenshot).
We have many backlinks and the blog appears on page 1 of Google for the highly competitive keyword (Mars Odyssey) (page 1 is filled with Nasa, space.com wikipedia results). We have a backlink from Wikipedia for nearly 18 months now...(see screenshot)
Traffic is around 1500 to 3000 visitors a month. Depend on space news, on related websites refering to a given article...

You buy more than 1100 unique pages of content. My initial goal was to then split all this content and create book series to publish as physical books. I just have no time for that. I will be able to discuss different monetization strategies with buyer.
Site has never been monetized. It was just a side project not aimed at being profitable. It is just a passion. Needless to post here some kind of "ROI factors and Site is not worth the asked price". It's not for people looking for an established business. It's for a buyer who will understand the value and power of putting his hands on more than 1000 pages of unique and professionaly written content.
I won't also BS you as most sellers do on those market places about the incredible potential of the site. Site is already established and traffic is pouring in even when no content is posted. Traffic is even growing day after day. But then it's up to you to monetize its current status (of course I will be able to help you)
Reason for selling: I just don't have time anymore for this project and I don't want to abandon it. It's a great blog and a great project.
Requirements: NONE. It's a wordpress blog with a unique theme. You only need to login to your blog dashboard, write the post from there. No technical knowledge is required.
